Members are encouraged to utilize the Great Lakes Scrip program as a way to reduce Booster Fees.

The GLS program provides discounted gift certificates to non-profit organizations. Members purchase face value gift certificates with the discount amount ( varies by retailer ) going to the Club Member. The discount goes directly into your booster club account as a credit. The "Booster" bulletin board has a list of the participating retailers and their discount percentages. Holiday specials are offered and a notice of them will be posted on the "Booster" bulletin board and this web page.

Scrip orders must be placed by 8 pm Monday night and placed in the scrip file safe in the HVGC Office. The orders will be ready for pick up between Fri. - Sat. (to be determined by holiday and/or shipping dates). Please check "Booster" bulletin board or this web page for specific delivery information.

The forms to fill out for the scrip orders are on the wall by the HVGC office. The only payment accepted for scrip orders are by check or cash. Checks for scrip orders should be payable to HVG Boosters.

GLS Order and Delivery Dates
Scrip orders must be placed by Monday, January 24th at 8pm. This order will be returned between Thurs. Jan. 27th - Sat. Jan. 29th.

GLS Gift Certificates Announcements
Great news...  Goody's Family Clothing prepaid cards are now available in $25 denominations at a 5% discount.

Honey Baked Ham Discount Increase
Effective January 22, 2005, Great Lakes Scrip Center will increase our regular Honey Baked Ham discount from 9% to 12%.   Please advise your member families as soon as possible.

Great Lakes Scrip Center customers will receive a 2% bonus discount on all Staples gift card purchases from January 15 through January 28, 2005.  That means you can buy Staples gift cards at a 7% bonus instead of the normal 5% bonus.

Multi-Retailer Scrip Card Now Available
Great Lakes Scrip Center is pleased to announce the Children's Heroes Community Scrip Card is now available for order. The Children's Heroes card is available in $25 denominations at a 5% discount, and can be redeemed at hundreds of locations nationwide. Because it can be redeemed at so many different locations, the card make the perfect gift. The Children's Heroes card can be used for dining at Stuart Anderson's Black Angus or Boston Market. It can be used for entertainment at Loew's Cineplex, Hollywood Video and Suncoast Video. And of course, it can be used for shopping at Cabela's, Circuit City, Dillard's, the Sharper Image, and many, many more stores. These are just a few of the participating merchants. KROGER Gift Certificates
Kroger gift certificates are also available for purchase any time in the HVGC office. The discount is 5% and is applied to your booster account in the same manner as the scrip program. Kroger Gift Certificates may be purchased in denominations of $10's, $25's or $50's.
